Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data EZMusic collects, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have. EZMusic does not sell personal data, does not show ads and does not track you across other apps or websites.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the EZMusic app for iOS/iPadOS and its accompanying processing servers (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Who we are

EZMusic is developed and operated by Vuong Trung Kien, an individual developer, at 218 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hong Bang, Hai Phong, Vietnam (“we”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@ezcorporation.pro.

3. Data we collect

• Account information: username, email address, account identifier and sign-in method (password, Sign in with Apple or Google). Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes; we cannot read your password. With Apple or Google, we receive only the identifier, name and email you choose to share — never the password for those accounts.

• Content you submit: videos or audio files you choose to create a tutorial. The app extracts the audio on your device and sends only that audio to our server to analyse the notes; the picture in your video never leaves your device.

• Optional feedback: if you turn on “Help improve EZMusic”, ratings and corrections you choose to make on a result may be sent to our server.

• Minimal technical data: to prevent abuse, the server counts requests per IP address using a one-way hash, kept only for a short time.

4. Data that stays on your device

Your score library, downloaded tutorials, practice preferences, chosen background images and app settings are stored locally on your device. Your sign-in session is stored securely in the iOS Keychain. App Lock uses the system’s Face ID/Touch ID/passcode — EZMusic never receives your biometric data.

5. How we use data

• To create and manage your account and authenticate sign-in.

• To analyse the audio you submit and create Falling Notes tutorials.

• To protect the Service against abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.

• To help you when you contact support.

• To improve feature accuracy — only if you have turned on “Help improve EZMusic”.

We do not use your data for advertising, do not build marketing profiles and do not sell or rent data to third parties.

6. Optional sharing choices

“Share diagnostic data” and “Help improve EZMusic” are both off by default. You can turn them on or off at any time in Settings → Privacy & improvement. Once turned off, the related data is no longer sent.

7. Sharing with third parties

We share data only in these cases:

• Sign-in providers (Apple, Google) to authenticate your account when you choose that method.

• Network infrastructure providers (for example traffic routing and protection services) needed to run the Service securely; they may process data only on our instructions.

• When required by law, or to protect the rights, property and safety of our users and the Service.

8. Retention

Account information is kept while your account is active. Audio you submit is used only for processing; the resulting tutorial is stored on the server under your account so you can download it, and is deleted when you delete your account. Anti-abuse data is deleted automatically within 24 hours.

9. Your rights

• Access: see your username and email in Settings → Account.

• Deletion: delete individual scores in your library, or permanently delete your account and all associated data in Settings → Account → Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, EZMusic’s access to your Apple ID is also revoked.

• Withdraw consent: turn off any sharing option at any time.

• Other requests (a copy of your data, complaints): email support@ezcorporation.pro. We respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Data between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, sessions live in the Keychain and server access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Children

EZMusic is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has created an account, contact support@ezcorporation.pro and we will delete the data.

12. International transfers

Our servers and infrastructure providers may be located in a country other than where you live. We apply the same protections described in this policy wherever data is processed.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. The effective date below will be updated; for significant changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
